This chair began as a idea I couldn't get out of my head. A single uninterrupted arc that would carry everything: the arms, the back, the legs, the structure, the comfort. Over time it became something more than a design problem. It became a question about what furniture can hold.
Seen from the side, the answer is clear. The continuous walnut arc rises and returns to itself; the legs reach outward and plant with quiet authority. The form does not strain. It simply holds, the way something well-made always does.
Each chair is built by hand in my Connecticut shop from solid walnut. The arms, back, and legs flow together as a unified structure, shaped and refined by hand to create a frame that feels light but remains grounded and stable. The upholstered seat and back live within the frame rather than on top of it, allowing the wood to stay visually present while offering a relaxed, comfortable sit.
I finish each chair with a hand-rubbed oil that brings out the depth and warmth of the wood while protecting it for everyday use. Whether placed in a living room, reading corner, bedroom, or studio, this chair is meant to feel intentional and quiet — something that adds presence without demanding attention.

Availability
Due to the labor-intensive bent lamination and hand sculpting involved in each chair, production is intentionally limited to five chairs per year. A 50% deposit is required at checkout to secure materials and production time. The remaining balance is due prior to shipping or local delivery.
Lead time: 10–14 weeks
Each chair is made to order, one at a time, with the same care and attention I'd put into a piece for my own home. My goal is for this chair to be something you enjoy living with, not just looking at, for years to come.
