I designed this piece to be as versatile as it is simple — a clean, mid‑century‑inspired bookshelf that works just as well as a TV stand or media console. The form is minimal and intentional, letting the wood do most of the talking. Shown here in figured Ambrosia maple, the soft tones and natural markings make every shelf feel warm and alive, but it looks just as good in walnut, cherry, ash, or classic maple.

Each unit is built by hand in my Trumbull, CT shop using locally rescued hardwoods. I mill, shape, and finish every board myself, aiming for a balance of clean geometry and natural character. The open shelving keeps the piece light while giving you plenty of space for books, records, or media equipment without cluttering the room.

The proportions make it easy to use in a living room, office, or bedroom — anywhere you want a functional piece that still feels calm and modern.
