I designed this multi‑piece shifting shelf as a way to bring functional wall art into larger spaces. With two supports and three individual shelves, it gives you the freedom to style a wall the way you want — balanced and minimal, or a little more dynamic and playful. Plants, ceramics, books, or small artwork all feel at home here, and the clean lines help the shelf blend naturally into almost any room.
Each component is handmade by me in my Trumbull, CT shop using hardwoods rescued from local tree removals, trimming, or storm damage. I mill and shape every piece myself, keeping the design simple so the wood’s natural character can shine through. The shelves mount easily with the included hardware, and once they’re up, the configuration is completely up to you.
You can choose from cherry, walnut, maple, oak, or ash to match your space — every board has its own grain and color variations, so each set ends up with its own personality.
